Naughty but Nice CBD/THC Plant-Based Grazing Board

MY inspiration for this dish was simple….. mood food! I mean the Holidays are supposed to a time to uplift and be joyous, but after a tough year and not being able to gather like normal, spirit levels are down. So I wanted to create a fun, colorful snacking board, that was not only healthy, nutritious but also boosted spirits and reduced stress!
NAUGHTY BUT NICE INFUSED OLIVE OIL
I call it “Naughty But Nice” because it’s a little bit of both. For this blend I’m using a flower that is richer in CBD than THC but still packs a punch. This oil will produce a psychoactive effect, but much milder than most strains and the CBD in it help me relax and recover from the year!
- 1 cup of ground THC/ CBD Rich Flower
- 1 cup cooking oil ( olive oil is great for multipurpose use)
*When making Canna or THC Oils you always want to use a 1:1 ratio of flower to oil
- Crock-Pot or Slow Cooker
- Fine Mesh Strainer
- Grinder
Grind the flower, you can include all parts of the flower, but just make sure you don’t grind it to a powder and it will end up going through the strainer.
Heat Oil + Flower in Crock Pot on low for 4-6 hours. If you have an Infuser, follow the Infuser's instructions. I am pretty fond of Levo Oil's easy to use infuser. After the simmer, strain and store the oil in an airtight container. The oil will last in a dry cool place for 2 months.
Use this oil for infused recipes like sauces, dips, spreads and even baking!
INFUSED CAULIFLOWER HUMMUS
- ½ Can cooked Chickpeas
- 1 Cup Steamed + Chopped Cauliflower
- 1 tbs Nutritional Yeast
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Sea Salt
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tbs Tahini
- ¼ cup CBD Infused Olive Oil
Place all ingredients in Vitamix or high powered blender and blend until smooth. Add more oil for desired consistency. Enjoy with fresh veggies or whole-grain crackers!
HERBED WHITE BEAN SPREAD on CROSTINIS
- 10 Crostinis or Crackers
- 1 Can Canelini Beans, Drained
- 1 handful fresh basil
- 1 handful fresh flat-leaf parsley, stems removed
- 1 sprig rosemary
- Juice of 1 -2 small lemons
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 2 heaping tbs Tahini
- 2 Tbs Infused Olive Oil
Start by adding some extra herbaceous flavor to your Infused Olive oil… place ¼ cup olive oil in a saute’ pan and add rosemary sprig and half of your basil. Simmer on very low for 20 min. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer, place in a mason jar.
Next, place the beans, tahini, lemon juice, herbs and salt in a blender, slowly add in 2 Tbs of Infused and Flavored olive oil, adding more if necessary. Blend till you reach your desired consistency. Spread on crostini, top with an added drizzle of oil and chopped herbs.
I am excited to spend some quality time in an intimate setting this year with just myself, my brother, parents and my 2 year old daughter. I cant wait to nosh on these festive treats with my folks, and just kick back and relax this holiday. Grazing boards are really a great low key way to enjoy healthy snacking, instead of baked goods or other typical holiday junk food.
